“I was having a difficult time calling around for information on setting up a professional business headshot session, then I found this place online! The staff assisted me thoroughly over the phone and was able to schedule a visit in a timely manner. They were professional, friendly, and casual which allowed me to be comfortable during the photo shoot. It helped that they were able to guide me and provide me instructions as I have never done a photo shoot like that so I really appreciated the support - also helped because I was nervous. The photos came out fantastic and was delivered to me via email about half an hour after I completed my visit. I was able to do one outfit change which meant two outfits total which was great! Highly suggest calling before you visit just so you can try to secure a parking spot as it the plaza is compacted. Great work!“

“By far one of the best studios for photographers or filmmakers in Los Angeles! The team at Apex went above and beyond for a recent filmmaking workshop we held out of their location. The 7th floor stayed cool even with 70 people inside of it during a hot summer day. The space made everyone feel comfortable with way enough room in either of their studios.

It was downtown and really central to everything else, not a bad drive at all from the airport. While it's on a really busy street, parking really isn't that difficult - lots of lots nearby to use during the day or I always just book a spot on Spothero nearby.

I'd rent an Apex Photo studio anytime again.“

“Dust Studios is an amazing rental studio! The rental spaces are well equipped, super clean and easily accessible. There is also plenty of reserved parking and the staff could not be friendlier. Plus they offer wide variety of rental equipment on premise. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mario and the director of operations, Sophia and it was obvious that they really care about the experience the creative professional has while at their studios. There's plenty of parking lots in Chinatown and this place isn't hard to find - it's right in the Chinatown Central Plaza, across from Burger Lords. The woman who helped us was really friendly and took the time to explain our auras (what the colors and placement meant) after. Really glad we did this!“

“No, this is not a wig. Three different versions of my icy white hair by Kelli Zhender. She is the queen of healthy blond, not to mention a totally amazing person. I definitely recommend if you want a color or blond specialist.

I always feel great and look beautiful leaving her chair. Ice white hair is very hard to execute (and not have all your hair fall out) and she has mastered it time and time again. She's also magical with a pair of scissors and now even my husband sees her for haircuts. Can not recommend Kelli enough.

There is parking in a lot behind the salon in the Ally as well. Salon is clean, small all the stylists are very accommodating. I've had nothing less than five star service whether it's color, cuts or Brazilian blowouts.

Update: I've had many iterations of fabulous hair by Kelli. Still my go to and still a 5 star experience! What are you waiting for?“
