“4 Stars: UPDATE: I'm revising my original 2 star review. CFP reached out and made several bonafide attempts to make things right--which I appreciate. A 3 month ordeal has come to a close and I am satisfied at the resolution they provided without hassle. That says a lot, actually. I will chalk it up to bad luck on the original execution and despite the incredible delay, the pictures actually came out pretty nice. So, patience 0, CFP 5 for the follow thru. Thank you for being solid on this.

2-starts: Senior Parents Beware

After years of reliable service, quick turnaround times, and reasonably priced underclass photo packages, the experience with senior portraits has been deeply disappointing. The pricing reflects an extraordinary markup—nearly tenfold—yet the final product and service fail to justify the cost or inspire confidence in purchasing additional photos.

Based on prior positive experiences, I placed an à la carte order on 12/4/25, expecting the same efficient service in time for the holidays. By mid-December, after not receiving any updates, I inquired about the status and was informed—for the first time—that fulfillment would take eight weeks. This extended timeline was never disclosed during checkout, on the receipt, or in any prior communication, despite the fact that similar prints in previous years arrived in a fraction of the time.

Order Timeline

12/4/25 — Ordered a small selection of prints totaling $197

12/17/25 — First status inquiry; informed of an eight-week processing time, disappointed but understandable

2/1/26 — Second inquiry after the eight-week mark had passed

2/3/26 — Response reiterated that “all orders take eight weeks”; only then was a holiday closure mentioned as a contributing factor

A digital image was offered as a goodwill gesture, but it was not a usable selection and did not resolve the issue

During the week of February 9, the prints finally arrived in a basic envelope, while the gift mugs remain outstanding. My daughter was told the mugs would ship directly to our home.

As of 2/21/26 — more than 11 weeks after ordering — the order is still incomplete, and unfortunately it seems the only resolution here, after multiple attempts to follow-up, is to leave this review.

Whether this delay stems from a lost order or an ineffective third-party fulfillment system, the lack of transparency and accountability has been frustrating. This situation could have been avoided with clear disclosure of processing and shipping timelines at the time of purchase, and whole/complete fulfillment at the time of pickup.

Overall, the experience suggests a troubling shift: leveraging the emotional significance of senior year to justify inflated pricing, while delivering diminished service marked by excessive delays and poor communication.”
