Cynthia is obviously Healdsburg's well-kept secret, because apparently locals know about her but travelers visit the salons, which have younger, less experienced masseuses who don't understand how to touch a human. Well more for the rest of us because Cynthia is fantastic--her skill set is fine-tuned from years of training and experience and her warm presence sets the tone for a truly healing experience. Whether you live in Healdsburg or are just visiting this charming town, look no further for a deeply relaxing therapeutic massage. The concept is good but this is way too expensive! $295 for 3- 3 hour classes. $100 was the make up charge for a missed class for us; we missed the class because our class cat passed away, let Alicia know but there was no grace. When we first arrived to the make up class, there was not a connection or any interest our birthing plan and how to integrate our plan. Instead Hypnobirthing was presented as the exclusive way to birth (very elitist). The class format is lecture style and could use some more intergration. BTW we had a wonderful hospital birth despite Alicia's constant critism of birthing at a hospital. Overall intentions are well but there were minimal techiniques... read full review

Wow! More than a massage. This is real relaxation, health and wellness treatment all in one magnificent hour and a half. Cynthia is a nurse and healer who has all the tricks of the relaxation and health trade. Her massage is unsurpassed.
