El Chapin Barbershop provides a great environment with quick service and a spacious waiting area. The barbers offer top-notch hair cutting skills and attention to detail, making clients feel confident and satisfied. Regulars appreciate the full service, including haircuts and beard trims. It's recommended to make an appointment as the shop can be busy. Kids' cuts are also available.
The barbershop has several payment options such as CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, and Apple Pay, which is an extra convenience for customers. Clients can visit with or without an appointment, and the staff is described as very professional and friendly. The shop has a pool table and televisions to keep customers entertained while they wait.
Stylist Eli, known as "el chapín," is praised for his professionalism. Customers also mention a younger barber named Kenny who did a great job. While some barbers only speak Spanish, customers have found ways to communicate effectively using the in-store haircut guides and Google Translate.
I was in LA from Chicago for a meeting and needed a cut, so I searched around on Google and landed here. Didn't know what to expect. Caesar took his time, asked a lot of questions about what I wanted and what I normally go for, and made suggestions instead of just running with whatever I said first. Came out better than I expected. Dare I say a great cut. Worth the stop if you're visiting and don't know where to go.
Great place. My sons and I (their mom) have been happy every time. Youngest son hates hair cuts. He's 14 y old. This is the 1st time he's HAPPY with the cut. The young lady. I think her name is Yennis gave him the cut. Very professional, friendly, all good.
