“I came as a walk-in last week, completely unannounced and on a tight schedule myself. I fully expected to be turned away, but Jess J. had some time before their next appointment. Jess is probably the most pleasant person I've dealt with in a barber shop, and one of the best barbers I've gotten a haircut from. The vibe of Create is an experience, people walking in and engaging in active and energetic conversation is something I've never witnessed at a barbershop. “**September 2022 Visit: Wednesday Morning** I wanted a vintage/retro updo for an upcoming event and found Guys & Dolls in Huntington Beach. I contacted Hannah, the Salon owner, and she accommodated my appointment request for the following week. Mind you I didn't really give her much to work with aside from I wanted victory rolls, my hair up, and that I was going to bring in a crown lol I got a text reminder on Monday for my Wednesday appointment, which I think is a nice touch and I met Hannah at her salon during my scheduled visit. I showed her the crown and a few inspo photos for the vibe, and she got right to work! Guys, Hannah did a phenomenal job and I loved her stylin! and I'm really impressed that she got my hair to curl. I got so many compliment on my hair that night and since she's local to my work/home I will certainly call her up again if I want to pamper myself and glam up. Thank you Hannah for making me feel so pretty!“

“If you're looking for a barbershop with good vibes and easy people to talk to during your visits, this is the one! I've been taking my son to see Jimmy for his haircuts. Every time I come, everyone usually greets me and my son. My son behaves so well and Jimmy makes it look so easy and smooth to cut his hair. Sometimes if my son is not feeling it and is a little fussy, the other barbers would hop in and help distract him. I can tell this barbershop works as a team and I appreciate how friendly everyone is -- making it comfortable for me to come. There's some barbershops that feel a little intimidating to come, but not here. Definitely recommend!“
