Wow!!! I have been here three times with friends for the Japanese scalp massage. Twice I have had Veronica and she is wonderful. It is located in a nondescript strip mall next to the dollar store, which is why it is so surprising it is so state of the art! We drive close to 100 miles to do this as we live all the way in the foothills of Fresno and is it well worth it! It is not one of those brightly lit places you have to squint in that are so hard to relax. This has soft Japanese music and running water for a whole hour. That seems more like 10 minutes. It starts out with a head massage that turns into multiple wonderful products being massaged into your hair and rinsed out with the scalp massage the whole time and different used to massage your head. Then there is a nice hand and arm. Massage lotion is applied and rubbed off with a warm towel, you can also add a facial to this at the same time which I think we will do! It is a wonderful way to treat yourself. The only way that this could be better is if there. Was an option for scented oils or lotion. I thought that last time there were some wonderful smells, but this time nothing was used that was floral or lavender. I think it would really make a difference if they added some type of aromatherapy or option for essential oils that would be a complete and perfect experience, I highly recommend them just the way they are but hope they will add the option for aromatic oils or products in the future! Will post pictures next time as we were so excited to be there that I had forgotten to take any!
I took my daughter ( 15) for her first facial today as she has been bothered by her blackheads in her nose, I personally have never had a facial ( I will be booking for myself) and let me just say that the esthetician Brandi was absolutely amazing and made my daughter feel so comfortable and I can see the boost of confidence it gave her to have those pesky things removed, I would HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment with her ASAP!
