Highly recommend Mizu for hair color! I came in with about 3 inches of ugly, brassy root regrowth after getting highlights at a pricey NYC salon 3 months prior, where I live part of the year (had been doing 10+ years of DIY color before that). My appt was with Bere, who is a newer stylist/colorist (which I told them from the start was totally fine with me, given that my hair is straight, fine, naturally fairly light, and takes color easily). Carla, the owner/color genius guru, guided Bere very thoroughly and attentively throughout the whole process. Absolutely loved my haircut, and top-notch coloring. Disappointed and a bit dismayed though, that the owner walked around for the 2 hours I was there with a mask below her nose [*Note: This post was initially made Nov 18, 2021, while mask mandates were still required. Thanks, Sammi..dropped by on a Sunday, to schedule a haircut appointment and consulted with Sammi. She set me up for a 1pm, the coming Thursday and she is awesome and amazing. She knew exactly how to cut my hair and there was no rush or pressure and I had a great time. Her little dog is super friendly..thanks and I will be back in for the next cut!
