I saw Gale McIntosh for a couple months for physical therapy almost a year ago after a fractured humerus had healed. She was totally disorganized with no ongoing care plan and no follow through from one visit to the next. Not surprisingly, there was little improvement in symptoms or range of motion during that time. Then I got a huge notice from Medicare because she had not filed for the required preauthorization for treatment. Around that time, I also experienced cracked ribs from a treatment, and I never went back after notifying her of both the injury and Medicare notice. This was a real waste of time!!! She was very friendly, but I did not go to physical therapy to make friends. She was very disorganized and not knowledgeable about my injury at all. I went for a few months with no result; I went to another physical therapist after her and saw immediate results. Save your time and money, and seek help elsewhere.
Absolutely terrible service. I have nothing good to say. I have had patella-femoral pain syndrome for a year, and I was recommended here by my orthopedist. Set up 3 weeks worth of appts with Gale. First time I saw her, she didn't even know there was an appointment. She also thought I was someone else. We do 3 weeks worth of physical therapy - absolutely no improvement. What she recommended me to do actually was hurting my knee more. She was extremely disorganized every time I saw her (very erratic, couldn't remember what my issue was or what we had done previously, overcomplicated simple stretches and strengthening exercises therefore causing more harm than good).
