I needed a new connection to my house water system for a new landscape irrigation system that I was preparing to have installed. My yard includes raised flower beds and a higher elevation in the back yard, so I knew that the new connection would also need back flow protection that met all California plumbing codes, local water company requirements, and city permitting requirements. Of the three plumbing companies that I contacted, only Joel, owner of Bay and Valley Backflow Services, understood my needs completely and was willing to come to my home to see first-hand what needed to be done. My job would require additional research to determine exactly how the back flow protection would need to be installed, and before receiving any commitment from me that I would hire him, Joel contacted the local water company to verify their requirements. He even set up a three-way call so that I could hear the answers directly and even ask my own questions! Office Manager, Natasha, meanwhile, quickly verified the city's permitting requirements. Only a few days later, the job was quickly and efficiently completed, and the water outage time was much shorter than I was expecting, which my family very much appreciated! Absolutely outstanding service and value! I wholeheartedly recommend Joel and Bay and Valley Backflow Services, and will definitely hire him again for other plumbing work, including the annual testing and recertification of my new back flow protection device.
