If you are considering a new roof, you must consider Matlock Roofing. Our end to end experience with Matlock was one of the best in our 40 years of employing area contractors. From Janet taking care of the permit process to the last shingle nailed, we could not have been more pleased. If our 100 year old cabin having 4 layers of old roofing with multiple peak & shed elevations wasn't difficult enough, add in 100 stairs getting to it and you have one challenging roof job. Overall not happy with the product. Challenges were:1. Side gutter was attached to the neighbors fence. They came out and cut off the gutter and used a gutter hose to get reach the ground.2. Cut 1 1/2 inch eave vent holes, smallest we can find are 2 inch vents. One board cracked when drilling the holes. Were told whoever paints the house can fix it. Our painter will replace the eave panels and drill 2 inch holes and charge us by the hour.3. Eave on the back side of the house was removed by us, which showed we needed the new roof. l can't say enough about Sylvester and his crew. Service, professionalism, workmanship was all there and pronounced, it's easy to see they take pride in their work. Everyone was well behaved too, which isn't always the truth with trade crews lol. But I really appreciate Sylvester lifting this burden from our shoulders so we could concentrate on other transactions demanding our attention.And, i just realized I didn't mention punctual, but they were indeed.
