Before taking our dog to Top Dog, his on-leash skills were severely lacking, to the point where it was a struggle to walk him anywhere where there might be other dogs. After just the first few sessions we started seeing a big improvement and our pup seemed relieved to have clear instructions of what was expected of him. We just started the second level class and the little dude is learning all kinds of awesome skills to the point where we now get compliments on his behavior when we're out and about. We just finished the Level one course and I had to jump on to write a review. Lori at Top Dog is excellent. We recently adopted a younger dog from Sammie's Friends this year and wanted to get some help with a few quirks that he had and that we didn't know how to manage on our own. Our dog Cody has really transformed from taking this class. What I love the most is that Lori truly loves all dogs and her goal of the class is to help people have a great relationship with their dog. There is so much in how dogs communicate, and Lori has been amazing at helping us learn our dog's cues. We loved this class so much, we are about to start Level 2! Highly recommend!
It is great to have a great trainer when you adopt a puppy! Lori is extremely helpful with all aspects of dog obedience. She generously shares her knowledge and makes sure you get it.
