After having the same Macintosh repair guy/friend for 20 years, I was at a complete loss of what to do when suddenly my Mac air stopped charging. I had heard about Mac Shack, and of course had seen it 1 million times but I'd never needed to go there. I was over at a friends house trying to use his charger to see if it would work, but my computer was older and had a different charger so he suggested going to see Mike at Mac Shack. I called and Mike was able to get me in right away. He spent a lot of time helping me. He's very knowledgeable. He's a good guy, honest and generous. I highly recommend going to see Mike at Mac Shack in Nevada City.

I mean, HE KNOWS MAC CPU and computer hardware stuff -- can sniff it from a mile away. I am glad to have found nCity MacShack in Grass Valley, close to Nevada City from where my company now operates. Mike saved my 8yr old Mac Book Pro from becoming obsolete. It has been few years since my computer has been running slooooow. Last month the mouse pad just took a life of its own. I called Mike to see if there anything he could do to save it. We he did. And he also cleaned my Mac from some programs that were slowing it down. My computer now runs like new. He was very pleasant, and informative. Knowledgeable of Mac products. and HE SAVED MY MAC!!!! HE SAVED MY 8YR OLD MACBOOK PRO. I will rather bring my computer to him than to the Apple Store.THANK YOU MIKE
