“Today marks 4 days post‑op following what I consider—especially at age 67—a complex and high‑risk procedure: a full bilateral capsulectomy with a ruptured silicone implant and breast lift (no replacement). The original silicone gel implants were placed in 2004 by a different surgeon and I had capsular contraction for over 10 years--doing nothing about it until an ultrasound in 2025 discovered the leak (not typically discoverable with mamogram).

I had no fear going into surgery—my trust remained absolute right up to the moment the exceptional Grass Valley Surgical team began general anesthesia.
My recovery has exceeded expectations. I required prescription pain medication only on the first day (and even then, just half the dose). Days 2 and 3 were managed with Tylenol, and I have now had a full 24 hour day without any pain medication at all. That alone speaks volumes about the surgical skill involved.
I am grateful not only for his expertise but also for the professionalism and care shown by his entire office and surgical staff. I plan to update this review as healing progresses, but even at this early stage, I felt it was important to share how outstanding this experience has been.“
