“Aimee did my makeup for my wedding, along with 10 other bridesmaids, MOB/MOG. I can't say enough positive things about her and her work. From the start, she was a great communicator and was easy to schedule a trial, which turned out incredible. The day of the wedding went extremely smoothly, with everyone's makeup turning out beautifully. She even finished ahead of schedule! I had a slight issue after my makeup was done and she quickly came back to the venue to fix it and touched up the other girls as well while she was at it! Honestly, above and beyond expectations. “Tropical Tans is a great place not to mention the only tanning salon in Grass Valley& Nevada City. I know they keep things pretty clean, & the staff are pretty nice to everyone that comes in there, that is as long as you are nice to them. They do the best they can to respect all that walk thru the doors no matter what or how they are doing.“

“I am from NV and was getting married in Grass Valley last weekend. With all the wedding planning, I was unable to get a tan like I had wanted to. I also wanted to get a spray tan within 24 hours of the wedding, but the wedding travel schedule prevented that as well. I searched everywhere in Grass Valley for spray tanning and found Madisyn who was the only one who offered the service. She got me in quickly and her tan was AMAZING. My groom was worried I'd be orange and I also never feel that most tanning places offer a dark option. I went to see Madisyn at her shop and it was SO CUTE. She also made me feel so comfortable and did a great job. I felt like a Princess the next day!!!“
“Such an amazing experience, and dedicated to their customers. I got married on 9/23/2023 and originally had planned to have Alexza do my bridal parties wedding hair. We had our trial run and was so excited. However, fate had other plans for her and she was unable to fulfill the request. Luckily she found out a month before the wedding and found a replacement within the salon before she even broke the news to me. All the stress was relieved instantly when she said that Alicia would be able to step in for her. I had another onsult with Alicia and she did just as amazing as Alexza during our trial. Wedding day came and Alicia did such a spectacular job on everyone's hair! I could not be more thankful for both ladies and their journey to get me down the aisle.“

“I'd give him 6 stars if I could. He's cool he gives a great haircut. I shave my head but my son has beautiful wavy curls, for his first hair cut I walked in and told him what I liked, he did a great job and the man knows what he's doing. Initially I was in mild shock by how much he took off it was way more than I expected but it quickly grew on me. Now we only go here and I don't ever worry about the end result.“
