Absolutely fantastic. Superb, friendly service. Works absolute wonders - got about 6 dog pee stains completely out of my white comforter, it smells and looks brand new. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Would rate higher than 5 starts if possible! Laundry is always done with great care, very quickly, and folded and packaged super nicely. The owners are SO kind and consistently do an amazing job, going above and beyond. Unlike any other laundromat I’ve used. Can’t recommend them enough- they deserve all the success in the world!

I truly love this place... So much so that I cannot find enough awesome and super positive things about the service and loyalty and to care that I can from this business over the years! They treat me like royalty from a humble spot in a local area not all know of as well as others...check them out for fluff and fold...see below...long review so get your spectacles on now! Why I love using Orient Hand Laundry: I so deeply appreciate how one hardworking couple running this biz out of a early nondescript small building but epically productive with awesome results. Somehow they save me over and over!!! With laundry!!! Like a gift from heaven!!! ...it means so much to me that they work so hard to do things well and keep my items...so for me and my family, I take things here when I've had tough times and there's not an easy way or time with my health or schedule, to have gotten such service has been beyond dreamy... I swear once you go they will fast make brown paper packages tied up with string literally become your absolute favorite thing!!! I never want my laundry done another way. Plus, you can utilize them in so many different times, during finals or midterms etc, if you are disabled or chronically ill, if you had covid and backed up on chores, and especially if you're traveling through town doing van or RV life or otherwise just need a really quick job done, when you're moving in and out, no machines at ur hotel, whatever! They care with which they fold and keep the items is part on and they will often choose to hang certain dresses and blouses and shirts of mine even though I haven't paid additional for anything other than fluffnfold... I feel like family; they have literally kept packages and packages of garments of my partners and mine for more than three years without me returning to pick them up which is some thing again no one else will do! We love supporting locals and it comes back around!!! Some Notes: The sign is a bit difficult to see is it starting to Fade after many years and could use replacement. I'm sure it's just not really in the budget or could be coding issues? It's a bit hard to see that they are there but once you turn the corner as long as you don't get to the office buildings before the airport then you haven't missed them but if you have- turn around and go back! It's almost across from Super8... -it's a bit difficult to park, but they do their best again to accommodate and make it very fast in and out process. Their prices are fair. Cash ONLY!! Be prepared and bring your bills with you, no CCs! They are glad to give change in my experience, but absolutely make sure you know what you need to bring for $$ or you won't be able to go home with your order! It's happened to me a number of times and it's a bit mortifying to say the least. It's not their fault it's mine for not remembering your policy after so many years. It's convenient to UCSB and the Fairview exit directly so if you're going home from somewhere on the central coast or back again again it's very easy to do a drop off and pick up and they are not ones to rush you if you need a few weeks. Their service is par non that way as only SB area local biz can be because they are real people that deserve support to stay in biz. It's the least you can do to try it out if you are struggling to do your laundry and make sure to ask for their price sheet for other items if you have delicates... Thanks Orient Hand Laundry! I'll never stop being a loyal customer! ***Reminders: Just be careful as it is not their fault if you throw something in there that will shrink or otherwise...ask for sep price sheet for delicates/bulky blankets/men's items etc... *Sometimes they will even hang dresses another semi delicates on hangers it just depends. *a great stop if you're traveling through the area, doing Van Life or RV living/car camping etc and don't have space/time to do your washing *stop by and make an arrangement with them for a quic
