I can confidently say that I have a totally different dog now than when I started. I got a rescue puppy border collie (questionable life choices but I digress). She was very reactive and pulled on my leash, walks were a nightmare and she would run out of my house and escape and would not come back when called. I've learned how to bond with her much more so that her aggression, reactivity, barking and leash pulling are all manageable. This was our first time trying the drop-off day training program, and it ended up being the perfect fit for us and for Olive. The structure gave her focused, intensive training during the day with Ricky and his staff, while still allowing her to come home and relax with us in the evenings. I sit here on my couch after doing my own morning training session with both dogs and I am in tears. I cannot begin to explain the amount of relief from anxiety training my dogs with Ricky has brought me. No amount of therapy could touch how I felt previously. I have learned patience, clear communication (with my dogs), and appreciation of the minds ability to change after years and years of ingrained unwanted behaviors.
