Sunday night I dropped my RayBan prescription glasses and didn’t realize it and I stepped on them and broke one of the arms off. I couldn’t do anything Monday as I had commitments all day long. Tuesday rolls around and I was going to go back to where I purchased the glasses a 1.5 ago...... I then realize I didn’t have the arm that broke so I and the wife looked everywhere to no avail. I decided that I would go to the optical center at Kaiser, after waiting for a half hour, I was told that they wouldn’t be able to repair the glasses and was given a card by the gent who helped us with Jimmys optical. Okay, let me fill you in..... I can not for any reason leave the glasses as I have an appointment for the DMV and needed my glasses. Jimmy carefully examined my glasses and let me know that the arm would be needed and unfortunately I loss the arm ( in 1 day.... 2 strikes, stepped on and loose the arm.... seems everyday is a hard day day for this senior) so, Jimmy said about all he could do is put the lenses in another frame.... Lucky for me he had a couple of frames that I liked..... and actually 1 looked way better than what I had..... Jimmy saved the day, he said at 3:28pm that he could have them ready in an hour or so..... I was and am so grateful that he could as I’m sure we all know how the DMV is.... if I can’t see, that will be an automatic fail and I waited over 2 months for this appointment and trying to get another would be after my birthday and my license wouldn’t be valid. Gave jimmy the okay to proceed and notice there were a few places to eat..... as you know, most of us seniors love to eat around 4pm..... wahla....... California Fish & Grill about 6-7 doors down, never been there.... fantastic food folks..... finished having our supper and about the same time to check if the glasses were ready.... Jimmy was hard working on them and said it will be a little longer but they will be completed. Fantastic, about 5 minutes later, I was trying them on and the fit was prefect......Thank You very much Jimmy and also shout out for William at Kaiser for giving us the information about maybe Jimmy could fix us up...... I tell ‘ya...... us seniors sure love a happy ending......
