Been here for couple of yrs, always one price because I don’t ask for style, just make it shorter, I’m an easy person. Today the owner walked out, n this lady unnamed cut my hair n told me a price x3 more than normal, I asked y n told her the usual price, she said this n that. I still paid because I don’t have time to argue with her, even gave her a nice tip 1/3 of the price she asked, but that’s my break up gift to them. Other places charge a little higher but price consistent with or without the owner is there. 2 stars because of the past decent service and price.
Thanh is great! She always does a great job cutting my brother's hair. She's also been able to help correct my nephew's hair a few times after he went and got it butchered by some other hair salon place. There usually isn't a very long wait time, if any. You can either do walk-ins or call ahead for an appointment. They're pretty flexible with this. The customer service here is what you'd expect for a Vietnamese place -- not very welcoming or over the top. They usually just talk to each other and occasionally the person they're cutting hair for. When it's your turn, they'll acknowledge you and motion for you to come over. My brother is actually a fan of this because he doesn't like small talk or chit chat, so this style works perfectly for him. The nice this is also that if you don't make eye contact with them while sitting in the waiting area, they don't try to bombard you with sales tactics to try and get you to get a hair cut. They wash your hair before cutting it and use really nice smelling soaps. They even style your hair after you cut it. Typical of most salons. The atypical thing I've seen is that they also wash your hair after they've cut it to rid of the little hairs. Very chill and relaxing vibe, especially since there usually isn't a lot of hustle and bustle going on in the salon. Really relaxing music too. Pricing here is pretty average. Wash, cut, and style for a male is usually $10, without tip. I'm not sure how much the going rate is for females.
