So, let me preface this with the fact that I haven't taken my car into a mechanic ever. I'll do oil changes at Walmart and other maintenance by myself.My Prius has been having a clunking noise with the steering and for some odd reason, it disappeared the day I brought it in. The mechanic took a look to verify everything was okay, and the car was good as is. Cool. Free inspection, I suppose. I don't know, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I can bring my car in to get it checked out without paying right away.Then the very next day my Prius had a check engine light.
