“I've been to three head spa places (this one and two around SF, where I'm from), and this is by far my favorite and the best quality! I've only tried Package #4, and I LOOOOVE it! What's great: 1. I really like ANNA. I've experienced many spa techs who aren't intuitive with their touch, where you can tell they're just going through the motions or are distracted. Anna's focused, hardworking, careful, and intuitive. There was some language barrier when I wanted more pressure, but she was quick to whip out her phone translation app and adjust her technique. 2. the place is really well-run. I believe Phi's the owner (same guy at the front desk), and he runs a tight ship. The place is sparkling clean (the bathroom is the benchmark, and the one here is nice!!), and each staff member is super professional in the way they carry themselves and interact with customers. 3. 2 free drinks with your visit in a lovely little lounge dedicated to just sitting around! After I was done with my appt, I actually hung out in the lounge for 40 extra minutes to nurse my rose and just relax on my phone. I was NOT in a hurry to leave haha. I love Package #4 - besides the head massage and wash, it also included a mini facial and a short feet massage. It's 90 minutes of pure ASMR bliss! I wish the places around SF are at this quality :( Btw, you can buy 10 and get 2 free as a package deal! As a side note, I left my earrings there when I visited in late Sept. When I called in, Phi was nice enough to offer shipping them to me, or have me pick them up when I return to LA. I finally went back in mid-Dec (2.5 months later!), and Phi immediately returned them... in a nice little protective pouch! I was so touched and impressed by the level of detail and care they put into their service! Quality flows top down, and this place has great leadership! “My favorite Korean hair stylist has been on a hiatus and I have been on the hunt for someone else to entrust with my hair the past few months. Every time my hair reaches the point where it starts poking my eyes, I have made the decision these past few months to try different highly rated Korean hair salons and stylists to figure out where and who can work with my hair. Since it was my first time at RT7 salon, I made the splurge to book with the kind CEO and lady-running-the-show, Scarlett. I've had my fair share of cheap barber cuts to high-end salons throughout my hair journey and come to realize that the risk of a irreversible botched haircut and the weeks of low self esteem that follow are not worth cheapening out on! Remember folks, quality over quantity! I've collected several pictures of specific traits of what I wanted in my hair cut (one picture for bang parting and length, one picture for sideburns, one picture for curl intensity for my perm, one picture for the back etc) as well as consulting with Scarlett and her years of experience on what she thinks would suit my face and head shape. During the whole experience of my cut and perm, Scarlett and her team were efficient and thorough. While Scarlett also had other customers to tend to, she made sure that no-one was neglected and promptly set timers to make sure the job gets done for everyone. While waiting for the perm solution to set it, I was given complimentary refreshing cold filtered water and snacks. At the end, my hair was shampooed and was blowdried and further cut and adjusted until I was satisfied. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted and the fact that it came out much better than I expected is what made this experience worth it. I have tried Korean hair salons in Irvine, Buena Park and even in Gangnam (in South Korea) by stylists who were well-recognized in their respective fields and who actively work with idols/actors in the Korean industry. I can confidently say that Scarlett's skills are exactly up to par with these industry experts and I am happy to find someone and somewhere who just...knows! I hope Scarlett never quits and if she ever decides to, please please teach your prodigies everything you know because I don't want another hairstylist breakup!“
