I needed my sewing machine serviced. Not too many places available to fix the older machines. I'm happy that FV Vacuum and Repair was still around. While the shop looks like it could use a cleaning/updating, the service and customer support were top notch. The owner helped me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He repaired my machine in a few days and at a reasonable price. If I have any other appliances that need some tuning, I would definitely come back.
There isn't anyone else I'd take my machine too. John is a legend. More knowledgeable with expert advice than anyone I've ever met. Prices are extremely fair. I bought an older machine here 15 years ago and it's still ticking. I've only messed it up a couple times but it's industrial and literally lasts forever and I put it thru some intense abuse. Fixes aren't that much considering I have friends that have gone thru 5 machines in 15 years.
The only appliance repair shop I've ever used. Period. My first visit was in 1990. I use my sewing machines ALOT & John keeps them running smoothly. Work is always done right the first time - I've never needed to go back with an incomplete repair. My vacuums & my carpet shampooer have also been clients - & continue to serve me well.There's no need to go anyplace else - you won't be disappointed with the repairs done by John. When you need a repair, this should be the only place you need to go to.
