About Creation Station Dance
Creation Station Dance is a popular dance studio for toddlers and young children in the US, offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, and other dance styles for ages 16 Months to 16 Years. The studio's teaching techniques are wildly creative, using hundreds of props and costumes to help children tap into their imagination in a way vastly different from most other dance schools. The non-competitive atmosphere and small class sizes allow students to learn traditional technique while having fun. Customers praise the friendly staff, who are enthusiastic, work well with children, and are flexible with scheduling. The setup of the studio includes half windows between the waiting room and studio, allowing parents to watch without distracting the kids. Parents of students aged 3 to 4 years old particularly recommend the Princess Ballet/Tap class, which is described as a "super cute fun class." Each class starts with a story, followed by ballet, a short disco party, and then tap time. The recitals are very well organized and super kid-friendly. Creation Station also offers summer camps, keeping children busy and engaged.
Everyone here is fantastic! It is kept fun, age appropriate, flexible for parents schedules and exactly what I wanted for my daughter. We started when she was just a bit over three, and are there now at close to five. For the princess dance series, they start each class with a story. Then ballet time. A short disco party time and then tap time. The teachers are all so enthusiastic with the kids and my daughter absolutely loves coming. They are also really good with the kids when they are having rough days. Because afterall toddlers and preschoolers have those. The way the studio is set up is also great. The wall between the waiting room and studio is half windows so the parents can look in and watch without it being too obvious to the kids (so they don't get distracted). We do a fair bit of trips. And so their makeup policy is really important. While they don't refund a class you cna just make them up other weeks. So the weeks surrounding our trips we do two classes a week to make up for the time we are gone or sick.
Creation Station is a great dance studio for young dancers. It is a very relaxed environment and the staff makes it fun with princess stories, fun props, and a disco ball. The recitals are very well organized and super kid friendly.
I started to take my daughter when she was 2, when she showed interest in ballet. I found this location that wasn't too far. the price wasn't bad at all, but it worked around my schedule. She loved it at first, but like any toddlers, they lose interest right away. Then we stopped... then at 4.5, school was over, and she wanted to go back to ballet. I checked here and everywhere else, and once again, this worked around my schedule. My little one loves it! She gets super excited going. She loves all the dance teachers here. Also, during the summer, they offered summer camps for 3 hours, and that kept my kid busy. I didn't have to stay either.
