California Upholstery Professionals is a dedicated hard-working family-owned business - they did excellent work on a seat in my car! SHARP METAL SPRING WIRE POKED A SMALL HOLE THROUGH THE LEATHER UPHOLSTERY OF THE CAR. A sharp metal spring wire had poked a hole through the leather upholstery of the driver's seat in an older Mercedes coupe. The broken metal spring wire was sharp enough to tear a small hole in my clothing. I put strong adhesive tape over the sharp tip of the exposed metal spring wire before driving the car to California Upholstery Professionals for an inspection of the problem. FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANCE WAS EXCELLENT. When I arrived at California Upholstery Professionals, I was promptly greeted by Vanessa in the front office. After hearing about the seat problem, Vanessa walked outside and looked at the driver's seat problem. Then, she called Oscar for a more detailed assessment of the seat problem. In short, I wanted to know if the seat problem could be repaired by them? If yes, I requested an estimated cost of the seat repair and the amount of time they would need to keep my car in their repair shop. INSPECTION OF THE BROKEN METAL SPRING WIRE AND ESTIMATE OF THE REPAIR COST. Oscar inspected the driver's seat and told me (yes) they could repair the seat problem. The work would require about 2 hours because the seat leather upholstery needed to be removed to repair the broken metal spring wire inside of the frame of the seat. The price was very fair and I agreed to wait for the car at their repair shop. SEAT PROBLEM WAS SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED. Oscar assigned the broken metal spring wire repair job to Brian. Brian carefully removed the leather upholstery seat cover and fixed the broken metal spring wire inside of the seat frame before replacing the leather upholstery cover back on the seat. The job was completed in less than 2 hours and the seat looked fantastic! Thank you very much to Vanessa, Oscar and Brian for great customer service and repair work!
