“I honestly cannot say enough good things about my time at the trucking school, and I owe it all to my instructor, Fernando. Getting my CDL back in 2013 when firstchoice had only one truck was the single best decision I ever made for my future, and it completely changed my life.
Fernando was the cornerstone of my training. When I first started, I was intimidated by everything from mastering the pre-trip inspection to perfecting backing maneuvers. Fernando was incredibly patient and corrected my mistakes no matter how many times i would repeat them. Instead, he took the time to break down my errors and explain why something went wrong. “My experience with Roadmaster was great. I was sent from my job, so I'm not sure about the finance part of getting into the school; however, I enjoyed every instructor that I had the opportunity to learn from. My first day was a bit overwhelming, but I had Vince go over the pre-trip inspection, and he was really informative and patient. He would answer questions I had, even if he wasn't my direct instructor that day. I also worked with James pretty often on the pad, and I'd have a good banter with him, and he would always help me out if I was ever confused about what I had to do next and what I should be looking for when doing my backing maneuvers. Alfredo was also great at explaining backing maneuvers and was just overall really positive. Tim was my first instructor over the road and gave me some great tips on how to adjust for drives since I had mentioned I was struggling with the accelerator. Monica made me comfortable OTR. When I was confused about how to know when to turn, she literally drew a diagram and explained what to look for. Then, she would ask me what I felt I needed more practice in and provide a route that would have me practice those things, along with whatever else she felt I needed. The class sizes can be large, but they do a great job at making sure everyone drives and gets time in the truck. With anything, you get what you put in, ask questions if you're unsure, and listen to what's being said to you. Overall, it's a great school for a driver trying to obtain their CDL.“

“I have dealt with multiple Driving Instructors & by FAR Ester Garcia is the best driving school instructor! She pushes you to do better day by day & always stops you on your common mistakes to correct them & get better.I started from dead down terrible to thinking I could do my test in a week from just 2 days of learning & Ester Garcia is a very honest woman and WILL NOT set you up for failure. She is honest & will let you know honestly if you need more practice or not.When you’re in the car with her all her focus is on you & how you turn the car, how you position yourself, how you back up EVERYTHING!Today I passed my drivers test at the DMV today & She was by my side as soon as I parked & completed my driving test.
