“I met Jackie in 2007 when I was pregnant with my second child. She was just getting started in the field and did my pregnancy photos which included my 16 month old, and then a newborn session a few months later. We moved out of the area but were still fortunate to have photos done when my girls were 3 and 4, and then a newborn (surprise!) session a year later. Fast forward to 2023 and she was able to travel to Montana to capture my daughter's senior high school photos during a family photo session. We have had three other people photograph our family over the years and they didn't even come close to the photos we get with Jackie. It is true that you get what you pay for. You can hire an inexpensive photographer, and it will show in the resulting photos via poor lighting, background, poses, and/or editing. You can hire Jackie, a master with light and form, a Rembrandt with a camera, and you can have a masterpiece time capsule that you will treasure forever. As for her professionalism, she could not be lovelier to work with. She is kind, funny, engaging, and truly interested in YOU! She wants to learn about you and your family on a personal level, which I am sure helps her to take such soul revealing photos as well. You will have too many photos to choose from after your session, but she will assist you in choosing what is best for your space, or your family culture. As a side note, she teaches classes. When I bought my camera and had questions about lenses, she broke it all down for me at an affordable price point. This is a long review because I can't say enough good things about her. If you are trying to choose a photographer for an important milestone that you want to be perfectly captured, contact Jackie. You'll only regret it if you choose someone else then look through her gallery and realize that could have been "us."“

“Vindy and her husband are a dream to work with. On the personal side, she is kind, communicative, well organized, and thoughtful. We met up for consultations before and after booking, were able to share what we wanted to focus on for our wedding, and set up an itinerary for the day of so that everything could run smoothly. In terms of her wedding package, she brought forth her experience on special locations near our ceremony so we could shoot the first look, and comfortably captured our day throughout many different settings--early morning light outside amidst greenery, inside a low-light church for the ceremony, under artificial ballroom lighting for the reception buffet, as well as bright afternoon sunlight under a gazebo. ALL the photos came out beautifully. Despite the early start and long drive, she was cheerful and offered helpful suggestions for posing our wedding party and family members. The results? Our wedding photos were dreamy, tastefully edited post-production, with focuses on specific touches and aspects that were important to us. Our guests and special family friends that flew out from different states were what my husband and I wanted to highlight, and so her husband steadily collected all those moments while Vindy took on capturing the bridal party. Even after a year, I noticed how she photoshopped the EXIT sign out of the entry aisle of the church to omit any glaring distractions from when I walked down the aisle with my father. My friends used our photos from her online gallery to use for their personal family cards and Christmas updates, as she managed to capture adorable moments of our flower girl and ring boy. She doesn't merely go through the motions of covering a checklist of various aspects of a wedding package, but personally ensures your day will be captured beautifully. Highly recommend!“

“Mike is the consummate professional and did a fantastic job with my photos. He was able to take my vision and make it a reality. He understood my specific needs and accommodated me accordingly. He was patient with my various outfit changes and intentionally worked at a fast pace to assure that I would get all my required pictures within my time frame. He got my photos back to me very quickly and edited them exactly the way I needed them edited. I don't write many reviews. The ones I do write are only ones that I feel very strongly about. “Experience may be skewed because terrible communication by school. Made reservation online, shown up with son and they were confused about his outfits. School wanted casual and tux outfits. We guessed and ordered a premium seating. School included the options, so we shown up and they wanted to do 4 outfit changes (tux, casual, cap and gown, and ?). "So you're going to wear this plain white undershirt?" No,b he's wearing that because your paperwork told him to, we only wanted ... back and forth until manager(?) resolved the issue. Second in line, and still took half hour before his session. Those who came in later were going to be sitting for awhile ( get first appointment)“

We scheduled our appt for photos and met the photographer, a professional and excellent photographer, at the Folsom Power House. The Power House is an ideal place for photos, we highly recommend it.
