About Happy Day Spa
Happy Day Spa offers a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The spa's therapists, including Larry and Jack, are attentive and intuitive, focusing on areas that need it most. The facilities have been updated, creating a cleaner and fresher environment. The foot massage, which is actually a full-body massage, takes place in a shared dimly lit room with other clients. The process includes a warm water foot soak, massage of the neck, shoulders, arms, feet, and lower legs, ending with a massage on the back. Customers can request more pressure for a deep tissue massage, and the therapists always adjust accordingly. The prices are very affordable, starting at just $45, offering good value for quality massages. Many clients find themselves returning regularly, appreciating the friendly staff and effective treatments, whether for foot or full-body massages. The therapists work hard and do not speak much English, but communication is simple and straightforward. Extra services like hot stone therapy are available for an additional fee, but many opt to skip aroma oil. Overall, Happy Day Spa is a popular spot for those seeking a great massage at a reasonable price.
My massage has become part of my weekly self-care routine. My husband and I both had foot and full body massages and were not disappointed! We are used to paying more so tipping is not an issue for us. We have never experienced any type of resistance or reaction as described by some reviews. I have asked for and applied more pressure if you want deep tissue (which I prefer). My husband likes less pressure and they always adjust. I recommend 👌. Great massage in our local neighborhood.
My friend introduced me to this place and I came here a few times.
We usually get a foot massage for one hour. In fact you get a full body massage just with your clothes on.
All therapies are great here. Today we had Linda and Jack and I can recommend them. They were great.
You get a best deal if you buy a package of ten massages.
They do some up-sales to their massages. We added hot stone for 5 dollars extra. We turned down choosing an aroma oil for 10 dollars extra. I felt that was not necessary.
One thing for sure, the massages are very cheap, they make very little money and work hard, so tip generously!
And another thing to mention the therapists...read full review
I don't know what my friends and I would do without this place. Though it's far from where we live, we go at least twice a month and the masseuses that we've had the last year are just fantastic. We are aging and the foot and body massages really help keep us going and for the past fifteen years I've been getting these massages, first in Elk Grove, then in Sacramento and now in Folsom, although we do have a place or two here in Amador County. They just aren't as good, and cost more too. Having been to over a dozen such places over the years I can tell you that some are more elaborate, with big TV screens of scenery or ocean life but this one has the best massages, very reasonable at a little over $30. each when you buy the ten ticket booklet. You really cannot beat it.
