“I’ve had the pleasure of running my esthetician business in My Salon Suites since December 2024, and I plan to stay for years because the experience has been wonderful compared to previous establishments. I am so happy I found my home away from home, where my business can thrive.
One of my favorite aspects is the owners—they are 100% genuine, kind people who truly care about your success in the building. On top of that, they are responsive, attentive, and ensure any concerns or maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
The outside and inside of the property are very well-maintained and clean, with a small, welcoming waiting area for guests. The location is in the heart of Folsom and easy to access from any direction. Plus, there’s plenty of parking, which makes it convenient for my clients to visit. Some other amazing perks include the building’s safety and security with key card access, nightly cleaning of the floors and restrooms, and its location in a well-lit, safe area. The suites are beautiful, customizable, and the building even offers two washer and dryers for added convenience.

“When things went left… they made it right!

I came into my appointment certain on what I wanted but uncertain of how I wanted to achieve the look. For context, I love my natural eye shape and what I was aiming for was more of an accentuation… a little oomph. I love a sultry flare at the ends, but keep everything else simple, not too lengthy.

I had a great consult with Ashley, the lash stylist. She did inform me that though she may not achieve the exact (photo referenced) look, she can get close. The appointment went super well, Ashley was very gentle.

Initially seeing the final look I was happy, but a little time passed and I felt it was much too heavy and dense. The lashes would push on my lid and brow-bone and distort the shape of my eye as well as my vision.

Ashleigh (receptionist) took the time to listen to my concerns (in person) and managed to squeeze me in within hours to have it corrected.

Ashley took me back and listened to my opinions and tried her best to work with what I needed. Unfortunately, granted the set was brand new, it wasn't possible to remove individual lashes to lighten it up. The whole set had to go. Ashleigh then recommended I try coming back to try the lash lift and tint. I was skeptical at first because I wasn’t too certain I had enough natural lash for it, but she was the second opinion that made me confident that I do.

I was quite a bit panicked, I spent around $200 for the service (then there were the after-care supplies), and I couldn’t bear the thought of losing that much money to walk out with nothing.

Ashleigh and Ashley both reassured me that the next time I come in, the cost of the service will transfer over so I won’t need to pay again! On top of that, I initially had the lash extension membership (say all you want but I’m high maintenance enough to see the worth) - she said I will not be billed. Instead, if I find that the lash lift is what works for me, we can keep up a membership for the lash lift, which is much cheaper.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for the support that Ashley and Ashleigh have given me. I hate to be the picky customer and to say that I was dissatisfied with the end product. BUT, it is extremely important to note that this is no fault of Ashley’s, and the studio went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied, which I did. I am incredibly happy to be a member of this studio and I look forward to my next appointment!
