I came here (this was years ago) and I had a transaction with an employee where not a word was spoken but somehow he knew to walk me right over to the salt licks which is exactly what I was looking for and then my credit card declined and I thought we’d have to break our silence but I held up a finger, pulled out my other card (the Plum card from American Express- highly recommended), and it all worked out and my nanny goat got her minerals.

What a gorgeous store this is! It has everything a farmer, rancher, and country bumpkin would ever want! Hardware, clothing, nursery supplies and more! They have a beautiful selection of clothing, including Ariat brand. The nursery had a great little selection of coastal plants along with David Austin Roses. I splurged and purchased an obscure Helleborus Snowfever plant. It is a variegated variety of "Christmas Rose" (NOT a true rose). I enjoyed talking to an older gentleman (about my age) who works there. We talked about fishing, coastal life (since I lived in Mendocino for 16 yrs), and this gem of a store. I highly recommend a stop here. It is on the right hand side just entering town while coming in from the North going South! I really love this store and can not say enough good about it!
