I’m writing to express my frustration with the extremely poor customer service I received from Solano Health Services today. I waited on hold for over 35 minutes, only to be treated rudely and dismissed by the representative who finally answered.

I was calling on behalf of my father, as I have done many times since 2014. I’ve always been listed as his authorized representative, and I’ve never had an issue making appointments for him in the past. However, today the woman who answered claimed she couldn’t find me in the system. When I asked how that was possible—given that I’ve attended appointments in person, with my name and address clearly listed—she...read full review

Can never be reached on the phone to even ask a question or schedule an appointment. When you do finally get someone on the phone days later after calling several times a day, the appointments are booked out at least 3-5 months out. If you want to be seen earlier, they tell you to come as a walk in and wait there for hours only to be told that there were cancellations and to try again the next day.

I know zero stars is not an option, but I'm o.k. with the one star simply because the person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly helpful and kind. Aside from that - wow. This is beyond ridiculous. I am new to Medi-Cal, so phoned to make an appointment and choose a pcp. Nope. There is only one pcp accepting new patients, and he is at the furthest location from me. Also, no female pcp's taking new patients. That's not o.k. So the only options at the two closer locations to me are pa's. And, apparently they've just put in a new system (of???), so new patients cannot even make an appointment. But, I can go into one of their three locations and wait, beginning at either 7:45am or 12:45pm - however, there is no guarantee that I'll be seen. So, I could spend a day, two days, three or more, just waiting around the waiting room, hoping to be seen. She said that I would be waiting for a no-show. She said to phone back in about 2-3 weeks, and then new patients "should" be able to make an appointment - and the appointment will be 2-3 weeks out from that point. So, at least 4-6 weeks before I can be seen by a pa - not even a doctor.
