This Beautician is the Last of the Mohicans, folks. She cuts hair Cosmetology school style, meaning, she does a very, thorough, perfect haircut. I'm very impressed with her! I do wish she'd add ten more minutes to the shampoo cuz she also manages a great massage shampoo technique. She doesn't rush through her work. MJ values every single customer! If you're lucky to get her talking politics, you'll be in for a feisty conversation! I definitely recommend MJ's Designer Cuts. Her prices are very reasonable too! Her shop is always immaculate!

Long Gone are the days you could go to any walk in salon and get a great hair cut. Today the stylists are baffled and confused by hair texture, type of hair, working with your facial structure, and God forbid you show them a pic! I had one tell me, Im NOT going to look at pics with you! Lastly a terrified newbie hacked my hair and when I told the stylist in charge, she began to Grill ME! MJ is eveything in a stylist I thought was gone. She offers walk in pricing but has all the skills I was looking for. I had admired another woman's hair and asked where she had it done. I live in Visalia but happily zip over to Exeter knowing I will leave looking good!
