About Debbie Vu Xavier’s barber and styling salon
Xavier's Barber and Styling Salon is highly praised for its friendly atmosphere and efficient haircuts, especially for children. The salon has a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, thanks to the caring and attentive staff. Many customers appreciate the relaxed, old-school vibe, with some mentioning the presence of classic music and a no-frills approach. The owner, Xavier, is known for providing a straightforward, old-school barber experience, including straight razor shaves and hot towel treatments that bring back nostalgic feelings. Deb, the new owner, is also highly recommended for her skillful and kind service, having followed her from her previous location. The salon offers reasonable prices and is a popular spot for families and those seeking a simple, quality haircut. The staff's patience and personalized attention make it a favorite for children, including those with special needs, and for adults looking for a no-fuss, classic barber shop experience.
I saw their sign on the Blvd advertising a haircut sale. I pulled in and they had availability for a last minute appointment. I was really impressed. Chen cut my hair. He was very skilled and detail oriented. I could tell that he really cares about giving a good haircut. Also, he hums the whole time to help him concentrate. It was so relaxing it put me to sleep. 😂 10/10 would recommend!
Elk Grove is full of plenty of offerings for haircuts, but most either cost $50, or are through a chain whose goal is to get you in and out as quick as possible. Xavier's (and now Debbie who carries on the legacy) dares to be different. $16 for a haircut, yet retaining the personal touch and quality of something that costs 3 times as much? That kind of a deal cannot be beat. This is absolutely my new go-to haircut spot.
Minh did a great job cutting my hair. Debbie does a great job cutting hair too. It costs $16 and it feels like a 60 dollar hair cut. There's a lot of attention to detail for haircuts. You can tell they take pride in their work. I used to go to Great Clips but this place is way better.
