I had an iron patch from work I wanted to sew over an embroidery of a sweater. The patch was only about 2.5 inches in diameter but it was thick enough that I couldn't hand sew. I found Peli's Fashion on Yelp and decided to try. I called and got a REALLY fair quote. I swung by to show her my sweater right away. Located in the pink and green plaza on Garvey Ave, I stepped into a crowded mom and pops clothing boutique and out she pops from the back area. Our exchange was short. I've been coming here with Juana for as long as I can remember, first with my mom because she'd come here to buy clothes or to do alterations. I still come here to this day so she can fix my clothes, everything from pants, shirts, overalls, you name it - she can alter it. I've always struggled to find clothes that fit correctly, usually pants/sleeves are too long or too wide and she always makes sure to measure me and ask me what I feel more comfortable in. If you need your clothes within a certain timeframe she also tries to work with your schedule.
