After buying a new (but 100-year-old) house, we wanted to get asbestos-insulated pipes removed from our basement / crawlspace. Since some of the asbestos was damaged, this required testing and clearance from the SC AQMD, and we realized it was going to be a much lengthier and more costly experience than anticipated.
