Micah and Craig were excellent. They were the second plumber I contacted after getting a referral, and I really wish I had called Pro-Tech Plumbing Co. first. They cleaned up the plumbing mess left behind by the first service and got everything working even better than before the original issue started. I had also bought a new kitchen faucet and asked about having it installed during the appointment. They handled it without any problem and made the whole process easy. I can’t say enough good things about Pro-Tech Plumbing Co. They are family owned, fast, and professional every time. I’ve used them for a long time for different plumbing jobs and have never had any problems. From installing a hybrid water heater to finding and repairing a bathtub leak that other plumbers failed to diagnose correctly, the work has always been honest, thorough, and high quality. They also responded quickly when I had an emergency leak at the water main and got everything repaired fast at a fair price. I had a main sewer line with a couple spots of buildup, and the plumber suggested hydro jetting, which can be very expensive. I called for a second opinion, and they explained that a heavy-duty drain snake could likely clear the blockage for much less. Micah arrived, checked the line, and used professional drain cleaning equipment to remove the buildup. They also did before-and-after sewer camera inspections so I could clearly see the pipe was cleaned out properly. The whole process was straightforward, honest, and cost-effective. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone in Downey dealing with a slow drain, clogged line, or main sewer problem.
