Horseplay Therapeutic Riding

Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center has been in existence since 1995. They have instructors who are certified with their PATH certification(Professional
Association of Therapeutic Horsemenship). Besides being certified, the center is also certified by PATH. You and/or your family can expect to receive the best in a therapeutic riding experience.

Our daughter has been attending horseplay for about 3 years. She has low desire to do any kind of physical activity but with horses she can come alive and really enjoy the workout/experience. It has been very beneficial for her. The staff and volunteers are very caring and do their best to pay attention to the needs and emotional state of the riders. They are very accommodating and understanding for each riders needs. We have had a great experience and would highly recommend Horseplay for anyone this type of riding would be appropriate for. (Our daughter has 1p36 gene deletion syndrome. I say this if it would be helpful for other parents with children with the same disability.)

I have been volunteering at Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center in Dixon for approximately 10 years. I keep going back! The lessons are well thought out for each of our individual riders. Our herd; Sweetie Pie, Chester, Blue and Skippy are so patient. And, the volunteers and instructors are awesome!
