Diamond Springs Dental Center is a dental practice located in the small town of Diamond Springs. They accept Medi-Cal dental patients under the age of 20 for general treatment, as well as patients over 21 for extractions with a referral. The practice also accepts other private insurance plans like Delta Dental, Guardian, United Health Care, and Cigna, but unfortunately, they do not take HMO plans such as DeltaCare USA. Patients have had positive experiences at Diamond Springs Dental Center. Dr. Mitchell Goodis and his dental assistant, Martha, were described as extremely caring, kind, and considerate. They explained procedures in detail and provided excellent service. One patient was particularly grateful that Dr. Goodis was able to help them with the extractions they needed to receive further dental work, as they had been turned away by another dentist. However, not all experiences have been positive. One parent reported that the staff would frequently cancel or reschedule their child's appointments, which was inconvenient for the family. The parent suggested that the practice should have better management arrangements to address staffing issues. On the other hand, another patient had a wonderful experience at the practice. The dental assistant went above and beyond to make the patient's two young daughters comfortable, including speaking to the older child in Spanish to help her practice. The patient was impressed by the staff's friendliness, efficiency, and knowledge, and their daughters loved going to the dentist.
