No need to call the 877 customer service line, because you will reach a 3rd party outfit/callcenter basically will tell you the staffs at the store had no clue how coupon works. she told me outright that I should not trust the advise and information I got from the store staff. what she is saying is I (an american) am an idiot to listen to the store's customer service counter clerk(an american) because he/she is also an idi*t. why american corporations shifting jobs to those countries? because Albertsons/Safeway will be loosing me and my family as a customer.

Along with not having enough stock on hand, especially when it’s on sale and having to deal with the dependence on electronic device is just to grocery shop is one aspect.. another is during peak times not having enough cashiers so the end results are long lines.. continued higher prices is the largest piece of this..
With record profits year after year, the customer comes out on the short end and this is not good customer service. Keeping labor down and profits up seems to be the norm these days.. unacceptable

Albertsons does not provide good customer service. I am a long time shopper. I went into the store I regularly shop at upon approaching the doors to the main entrance I discovered the doors were locked and blocked off. I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and it is difficult for me to step up or down. I chose to go into the store through the other entrance rather than re parking my car thinking I would have someone open the door for me when it was time to go. When I was ready to check out and leave I asked for a manager to open the locked doors since my car was closest to that entry/exit. They refused to assist me. Manager stated the doors were permanently locked.... read full review
