I had my first eye exam here with a new insurance so all I knew was that my copay would be $10 for an eye exam. Someone on the phone told me that when I was scheduling my exam that the contact lens exam would be included so I didn't think much of it. When I arrived, the door was locked (for safety) and so I rang the doorbell to enter and was told to check in with the receptionist. She told me that there's a new machine they're using to check my retina instead of doing the dilation drops, much faster, etc. but that I would have to pay $15 out of pocket. A good place overall, doctors and front office staff are friendly, thought they do seem pretty busy and at times hard to get in for an appointment. Good selection of frames, though a bit overpriced I feel. Good thing I have insurance. Parking is not too bad and compared to most of San Francisco it is quite excellent.

Came for my and hubby's eye exam. Dr. Yamada was very professional and knowledgeable. We've had a wonderful time and grateful that we still got perfect vision!!! Will go back for our annual eye exam here :)
