I first met Jennifer when she first started. She was working at Leonard's. I had long, curly, thick hair. She gave me a cut that was easy because I worked full-time in an ICU. My hair has gone through many stages of cuts and always stylish. Now I am retired and Jennifer now has my hair easy to take care of in a short cut that I don't have to mess with. Now she has her own salon and in my book she is the best. in my book she is the best.
I love Auntie Jennifer! I actually thought she was my biological aunt when I was a kid because she is the sweetest, funniest person ever. My father has been getting hair cuts from her since the early 90s! Even though I don't live in the area anymore, I don't mind making the 50 min trip down to get the best haircut ever. She is honestly THE BEST hair cutter in the world. I mean it. Somehow, her hair cuts always grow out so well - I get compliments on my hair for months after. The place itself is kind of tricky to get to, since her shop is located in the back of her family clothing store. It's also very small, but there's a seating area to wait. I like that her area is kind of a secret because it makes the experience more special! Also, you pretty much only can know about her shop by word of mouth. Can't wait to be back!
I've been going to Jenn for over 10 years for my haircut and color. I am not sure why I haven't written a review before now. She does an amazing job and I always get compliments on my hair. The location is a little hidden if you aren't sure where you are going - it's on the street behind the Walgreen's parking lot. If your a nurse you're in luck. She shares the space and they sell all sorts of nurse scrubs. Jen great hair stylist!!
