She's not called the Scissor Samurai for no reason. If you're looking for a fade, this is the place. I've been going here for years. Best times are to go before lunch during the weekdays. If you decide to go during the weekend, there will be a wait.

I had intended to go to another shop, but I made a u-turn when I saw the Star Barber sign. I walked in, and the place was empty; I had no idea what to expect. After the cut, she motioned to a sink and said, "Shampoo." I was a little nervous because I thought the cut was $25...what add-on am I getting??? All was great! The total was $25 and totally worth every penny! Don't forget to tip well. When I left there were 5 people waiting. Definitely worth the wait!

A hidden gem amongst the hair salons and barbershop. This is my first time getting a haircut from this place and after reading all of the reviews here, I could definitely say that this is a hidden gem. At first glance the place doesn't looked like much but this awesome korean lady who helped me gave me advices on how I should cut my hair based on its form and to top it all of she did an amazing job cutting my hair by scissors. The overall experience was at the price range of $25 which also includes hair washing and after that she taught me how to style my new hairdo and gave me a korean yogurt drink.
