I’ve been bringing my dog to Family Animal Hospital for the past five years, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. J and the entire team! My dog used to be terrified of going to the vet, but ever since we made the switch, she’s been doing so much better. Dr. J is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and approachable—it’s clear she truly cares about every pet she sees. The staff is always welcoming and efficient, and they do their best to get us in and out quickly, which I really appreciate. I trust them completely with my pup’s care and feel so lucky to have found this place!
Very competent communicative Vet and staff. Dr. Jaramillo is keeping my dog with congestive heart failure alive and comfortable. I drive from Lake Forest to Costa Mesa and it's so worth it.
I've been taking my cat here since he was 4 months old. The facilities are clean, and staff have always been friendly and helpful. They don't take appointments except for neuter/spay and dental cleaning. It does get busy so if you want to make sure you're one of the first ones in, get there before 8 and wait. Any later, give them a call to see if they are still taking walk-ins.
FYI It is a pet drop off so don't expect to be in the exam room with them. ?⬛
