A shame I had to even leave a star to begin with. My very first time coming to this location and mind you, it wasn't easy to find parking. I managed to squeeze in towards the very front where there is a sign that states the parking is solely designated to the cleaners. I park my car and as soon as I get out of my car this crazy lady starts to yell at me. I should have prefaced by telling her that I had a trunk full of garments I needed for an upcoming 3 day wedding. I was trying to multi task and also pick up my food which was ready for pick up at the sandwich shop next to her shop. The moment I open my mouth to state I was picking up my food first, the crazy b**** cut me off, and told me that I couldn't park there! She went on a rant and wouldn't let me get a word in. Literally kicked me out before she would let me talk. If you're the owner of this place, shame on you! That is not how you treat people PERIOD. I get that you probably deal with other people parking there that don't do business with you, but I certainly wasn't one of them. Your psychotic yelling and irrational behavior was totally unnecessary. You attacked me for no reason. Had you let me get a word in, I would have opened the trunk of my car and walked the garments in if that's what you wanted me to do first. I refuse to believe thatI'm the only one that drops things off and does other errands in that same shopping center. Not the way to treat future patrons. You must not need the money to run your business because I live across the street and was looking forward to supporting a small business in the city I live in. Your mouth and rage just cost you a frequent customer. I'm happy to report that I did park somewhere else, picked up my lunch, and drove over to Kona cleaners. I was greeted and treated kindly. Turns out they DID want my money and future business. Hope you and your parking spot have a great life together.
About two weeks ago I dropped off a large table runner to be cleaned at Eastside. When they returned it you could not even lay it out flat on the table - virtually useless and it was clear that they had shrunk it. There was no note on the item stating a problem which you expect from a cleaner. I called them and was told by the owner to return it to them and they would steam it and bring it back to its original condition. Bear in mind that I spoke to both the lady at the desk and the owner, who asked if this was the first time the item was cleaned and it was. Now, fast forward to this week; the lady from the front desk calls and tells me it is not repairable. I ask her to tell the owner he needs to replace it and I provide the original invoice. He calls me and states "we did nothing wrong and I have to depreciate it because it is 10 months old so you will not be happy with the amount". He also tells me that all the items he has cleaned from Crate and Barrel --quilts, runners, linens etc. all have shrunk. I find this hard to believe because all the items I have purchased from C & B have been quality, somewhat expensive and I have had no difficulty with cleaning them at other cleaners. He then offers me a "store credit" at his cleaners in lieu of replacing the item or refunding the amount paid. In the past when a cleaner has ruined an item or lost it, they replace it or refund the amount. Unfortunately, I will not return to this cleaner for I cannot trust them to do a quality job and they do not stand behind their work.
They need to work on returning what you take in. And not giving us other people clothes. When my husband returned items that weren't ours we could not get the money back for the cleaning of these pieces. All of my husbands khaki pants have disappeared. We take so many items in at one time we just don't know until later if things are missing. But we do know when we get other peoples clothes, and I think they count the number of pieces so if we get something that's not ours then obviously we didn't get something that was ours. Just not interested in using a place that mixes up our items with others and then won't credit us for paying for the cleaning of these pieces.
