Highly recommend! I used to take my dog here about 3 or 4 years ago and I have not yet found a place close to as great since I have moved back to MN. My dog is terrified of the vet but I brought him here several times and he always walked in without hesitation. The vet immediately sat on the ground with him and my dog loved him instantly. The vet is an all around really great guy with the best vibes that really worked with us when I couldn’t afford all the bills up front. I currently can’t find a vet that me or my dog trust and that is as nice and trustworthy as the people at dover shores! 10/10 recommend. Today was Pudge's first time here. The staff is friendly and welcoming including the cat who greeted us at the front door I appreciate the time Dr. B put into making friends with Pudge before beginning his exam and giving his shots. He welcomed all questions I had about my new pup and gave some great advice. I trust he will care for Pudge as if he were his own.

I have been bringing pets to Dr. Bauersfeld for 25 years and could not be happier with his care. As the photo shows, he meets the pet where the pet is comfortable, making the exam as stress-free as possible. When I brought my giant Lab in for his first visit, Dr. B came through the door, and immediately slid down the wall and sat on the floor. Of course Max came over immediately and Dr. B pulled him into a giant hug, rubbing and petting him all over. Max got a very thorough exam and only thought that Dr. B gave the best "lovies" EVER! Great, experienced, loving care. What more could you ask for?
