“I wanted to leave a review because I recently got my hair cut at Eastside Barbershop, and it had been about a year since my last visit.

I live about four hours away, so this definitely isn't my local barbershop. Even after a year, Jonathan remembered how to work with my hair and gave me another excellent haircut.

I have very fine hair, and not every barber knows how to cut it properly. Jonathan knew exactly what to do. He is funny, compassionate, professional, and extremely skilled at what he does. The haircut turned out great, and I couldn't be happier with it.

What really stands out about Eastside Barbershop is how welcoming everyone is. As someone who isn't local to Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, or Huntington Beach, I was treated like a regular customer. Jonathan, the other barbers, and even the clientele made me feel comfortable and welcome.

I also want to be honest and say that when I first stopped by, I was probably a little awkward and obnoxious. I live with PTSD, and sometimes I come across differently than I intend. Despite that, everyone treated me with kindness and respect.

The fact that I'm willing to drive four hours and come back after a year says a lot. If you're looking for a great haircut, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely good people, I highly recommend Eastside Barbershop and Jonathan.“
