Gary is a very talented hairdresser and he is a very nice person. Strands is a warm and welcoming studio, buzzing with activity. There is always a freshly washed robe to put on so that your clothes don't get wet or covered with hair. Gary makes sure each client is happy when they leave. That is why I have been faithfully returning to Strands for many years!
Marlene has been doing my hair for over 10+ years! Driving 30-35 minutes JUST to get my hair done says a lot. She’s a beautiful sweet gem, and she’s amazing and what she does and I highly recommend her and her services. The facility is clean and fabulous and the staff is welcoming as always!
Called at 4:45 to get a quick haircut and they were able to accommodate me just before close. I was met with Sarah who was so sweet! I have never had anyone give me a scalp massage and shoulder neck massage (brief but it was a minute of heaven) and I am coming back just for this. Obviously I live in Vegas but I guess now I'll be getting my hair done in Newport! I got a simple trim and she beautifuly framed my face and I feel so much lighter. She asked a good amount of questions to really understand what I want and she gave me the cutest blow out! She's a trooper with the amount of hair I have. Thanks Sarah! I might be brave next time and color my hair.... I'll let you guys know how that goes!
