Planet Fitness is a gym that believes in providing its members with Big Fitness Energy™. With over 2,400 locations and a mobile app, it aims to help people stay active and energized. Members appreciate the affordable $25 membership fee, which allows them to visit any location and bring family and friends. The gym is generally enjoyed for its cool atmosphere and friendly staff who maintain cleanliness. While some locations can be crowded and machines may be worn, many members find that the machines are usually working and not out of service. However, there are concerns about the availability of cleaning supplies and some gym-goers not wiping down equipment. There have also been isolated incidents of a car break-in at one location, leading to security concerns for some members. Despite this, Planet Fitness remains a nice and clean gym, often empty during early mornings, and is appreciated for the respectful treatment from staff, making it a recommended place for fitness.
I love my gym. Always Clean, Equipment is always functioning. Staffis always willing to assist you or help if you have any questions or needs. Front end mgr is always on point and present within the facility.
*Special Acknowledgement to DIEGO 👀🫵🏽, This employee is always CLEANING 🧹🧼, weather it's the restrooms 🚻🚺, the gym equipment, sanitizing workout floor, or general maintenance of the Compton facility DIEGO is always putting forth the hardwork👀💪🏽. This is one of the reasons why I continue to be a member of the Compton location.

Excellent gym with excellent staff. The classes are great. Luzi is an excellent trainer. I worked a bit too hard without having something to eat prior to attending the class. I got dizzy and had to stop the workout. Luzi saw the signs before I did. He jumped into action right away, he helped me through the episode, and gave me instructions on preventive measures for next time. I'm so grateful that he was there for me today. Please give Luzi a raise! I'll be back soon, for sure. Thanks, PF Compton!
The manager Celine is absolutely amazing! Always feel welcome by her and her staff, very friendly and helpful. The gym itself is kept well cleaned; you always see the staff doing their rounds. They have everything to help you jumpstart your fitness Journey. Love coming here 🤩🤩
