    Staying mid week helps it to be not as crowded, but the downside is they had construction all throughout the days, and water and electricity were off for 4 hours
    Nice to have a good campground so close to home, and a large enough parking area for 2 vehicles

    The dog park is a treasure for those of us that train our hunting and competition dogs. It has fields for all dog types and there are ponds suitable to train in. Where else could anyone find to be able shoot over your dogs for 15 dollars a day entry fee in Southern California. The people that operate the park are friendly and helpful.

    Prado is my Sanctuary. You can find me out there with my best friends almost every weekend. The only problem is that I wish I could go more, but I guess I need to work too. This place is thought to be a dog park, but it is so much more. This place is the best you can find in socal if you're looking to train your hunting dogs, field trial dogs, hunt test dogs, pointers, and all the above. There are numerous ponds to train on, and the water levels will vary throughout the days, weeks, months, etc. The park is part of the Prado flood basin, so depending on the rainfall, many areas will be flooded out during the winter and early spring months.
