I couldn't be more pleased with making the decision to transition my daughter to Clutch up Softball Academy from Rec ball. Coach Marcus is awesome with the girls, he shows the right amount of love and intensity which makes a great balance for these girls to grow and become successful not only in Softball but in life. Being at this level of travel ball is not for everyone because it takes a lot of commitment. I personally love the family atmosphere here at Clutch up and I love that the girls have to work to earn spots as it should be. My daughter plays on the 10u team and I was concerned about putting her on a travel team because of her skill level. However, she has learned more in the month with clutch up then the year and a half she played rec ball. My daughter responds great to Marcus and I wish she would listen to me like she listens to him lol. Her confidence has grown thanks to Marcus, Bobbi and even because of some of the parents. We started batting lessons with Marcus a couple months ago while still playing for a rec league because she went all season with only 1 hit. We were new to the travel ball world and based on a recommendation from a well respected coach we were told about Clutch Up. From the first trial practice to now (4 months) my girls (10u & 12u)are so excited to go to practice and games. They have learned so much in such a short amount of time from Coach Marcus and his team of coaches ( who are all women and former college players who my girls look up to). This organization and the families have been very welcoming and felt like the right fit for us since day 1.
