What an AMAZING crew!! We had the pleasure of working with Randy, Louie, and Oscar and I cannot say enough positive things! They were attentive, punctual, patient, and helped us put together a GREAT show. Our group of amateurs looked professional because of their amazing sound work and lighting. Honestly, cannot say enough good things about them!!

If you go with GEC Events, request Chris Acosta for your DJ!!! We hired him to DJ our wedding and from the beginning he was communicative, professional, and extremely patient with us. He understood the wedding planning process and would kindly check in periodically before the big day. When I sent him our playlist / song requests along with timeline of which songs to play for which dances and when speeches would be, etc, he was concise and reassuring. The day of the wedding, he found the right moment to ask me if we preferred to be announced as Mr and Mrs ____ or by our first and last names, etc. and I thought that was such a nice touch and something I never would have thought about! Made it feel like we were taken care of by a real pro. We continued to feel this way the entire night as there was not a single hiccup in any of the setup, coordinating with our event planner, in any song or audio or timing or anything! He was FLAWLESS!!! Not to mention, both his PA system for the ceremony, as well as his DJ speaker system were top quality, and we realllllly got to get down at the reception! Perfect for an 80 person wedding, and he knew just how to get everyone on the dance floor. At one point I looked out at our dining tables and only 3 people of 80 were sitting, the rest were on the dance floor. And to top it off, at the end of the night, he made sure to find both of us and ask us what we wanted for our last song. We were so caught up in seeing everyone that we never would have thought to have that, but stopping to end cap the night dancing together was one of the highlights and it was thanks to Chris for making that memory happen. My recommendation for Chris is above and beyond what I could have asked for on our special day. He's seriously the best and I hope you have the pleasure of getting Chris to make your big day as wonderful as ours! Thank you, Chris!!!!!!! -Tony and Fae

Highest possible recommendation. Oscar was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. He set up a FANTASTIC event in DTLA - complete with photo booth, DJ, gigantic flat screen with slides that everyone could see and some of the best catered food I've ever had. It would be a pleasure to work with them again. Thank you, GEC Events!
