If you're looking for a tranquil place to relax, ask at your check-in for a room away from the pool. Little kids and young people tend to be very loud around the pool all day long until late hours. Also, if you have issues with climbing stairs to get to your room, ask for a room on the first floor. This hotel doesn't have elevators.
A beautiful property and very relaxing. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member who behaved unprofessionally and appeared racist. His remarks towards me due to a misunderstanding stemming from not reviewing the hotel notes was unacceptable. Without justification, he quickly threatened to called security, and upon being shown proof of my reservation, he improperly claimed I wasn't checked in legally and threatened to involve law enforcement. After I calmly requested to speak with a manager, his demeanor worsened. Room was basic but everything we needed with a full kitchen and patio. Pool area is great, cute little bar, lovely place to sit out for the day. Friendly service and well maintained grounds, this place has a nice central location with a walking path. We’ll be back!
